Tokon Academy elite performance programme

From November 2008 the Tokon Academy's 'Elite Performance Programme' will act as a culmination of all previous 'Junior squads' already in effect at the Tokon Academy. The elite performance programme has one sole mission: being "committed to developing excellence in performance."

With an objective to foster this excellence across all programmes of study at the academy, juniors will be selected for inclusion onto the elite performance programme based on their abilities during class and their committment and attitudes towards learning. It is hoped that through the strategies implemented during specially structured training sessions juniors will benefit from the sports science principles and cross-training philosophies being offered during one-to-one and or small group training clinics.
